Orijinal

This setting was published on pages 28-34 of Thomas Clark's A Second Set of Psalm Tunes , London. c1807. , the last of three anthems in that collection. This setting is headed 'Anthem. Psalm 100th. ' in A Second Set of Psalm Tunes , the title page of which refers to 'Three Anthems', and so it would appear to have been primarily intended for use as an anthem. Nonetheless, the text is the full Psalm 100 in the BCP translation, followed by the Gloria Patri , so the work would be suitable for use as the canticle Jubilate Deo at Morning Prayer.
