This is an aggressive, uptempo composition featuring improvised solos for tenor saxophone and trumpet. Composed by trumpeter Ken Edwards and Maynard Ferguson's last drummer. music director Stockton Helbing, "Indiscretions" shows off your band's skill at playing over a driving straight-eight 7. 4 groove. A tuneful melody is passed around the band, leading into solos by the first tenor saxophonist and fourth trumpeter, divided by a funky interlude. After the solos, the ensemble plays an exciting shout section with conservative brass leads followed by a brief recap of the melody. No doubles are required of the saxophones.
