Nothing is so good it lasts eternally,

from wanting far too much, for far too long.
[Verse 2]

won a few more moments, who can tell?

now at least I know, I know him well.

Security (he needs his fantasy and freedom)
D G Cm G D D
I know him so well!
[Verse 3]

No one in your life is with you constantly,

Am G C D Cm F
still the gap between us is too wide.
[Verse 4]
G D G
Looking back, I could've played it differently,
Em D C
learned about the man before I fell.
G D C
But I was ever so much younger then,
Am G C D
now at least I know, I know him well.
[Chorus]
G
Wasn't it good (oh, so good)?
C
Wasn't it fine (so fine)?
Cm G
Isn't it madness? He can't be mine.

Am Em
Didn't I know, how it would go?
E
If I knew from the start
D G
Why am I falling apart?
C
Wasn't it fine (so fine)?
Cm G E Am
Isn't it madness? He can't be mine.

But in the end, he needs a little bit more than before,

It took some time to understand him

tabs are fine but the ending is all muddled

Yeah, the ending is indeed muddled. Where "+ REFRAIN" is written, Whitney repeats chorus with different chords and lyrics. It would be great if this could be corrected
