(intro) Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2 x2
(verse)
Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
All last summer in case you don't recall
Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
I was yours and you were mine -- forget it all
Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
Is there a line that I could write?
Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
Sad enough to make you cry
Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
All the lines that you wrote me were lies
(verse)
The months roll past the love that you've struck dead
Did you love me only in my head?
The things you said and did to me
Seemed to come so easily
The love I thought I'd won you give for free
(chorus)
Cadd9 G Dsus2
Whispers at the bus stop, well I've heard about
Cadd9 G Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7
Nights out the schoolyard I found out about you
Dsus2 Cadd9 Dsus2 Em7 Dsus2
I found out about you
(verse)
Rumors follow everywhere you go
Like when you left and I was last to know
You're famous now and there's no doubt
In all the places you hang out ...
They know your name and they know what you're all about
(chorus)
(solo)
(verse)
Street lights blink on through the car window
And the time too often on AM radio
Well, you know it's all I think about
I write your name drive past your house
Your boyfriend's over, I watch your light go out.
(chorus x2)

In the chorus, the G chord should be over "well" and the Dsus2 should be above "heard". Makes the chorus flow better and that's how it is in the song. Messed me up for a long time

Finally someone noticed the correct verse chords, that it's not C, D, Em, C like everyone else says. Bravo!

Some minor corrections:
The middle line of the verses ("Is there a line that I could write" and similar) switches to 3rd fret on high e, for all chords: Cadd9, Dus4, G/B , Dsus4, then it goes back to sus2 for last line of each verse.
Also in the chorus it's a regular D, not Dsus2.
Otherwise great job noticing they're not all major chords like everyone else thinks.
