Lovely original melodies stand alongside familiar carols to create a musical experience suitable for churches of all traditions. A simple, scriptural narration joins the seven choral pieces, and an optional joyous instrumental overture sets the stage with a medley of Christmas favorites. The orchestration of this work is within the range of many churches, with the option of using digital keyboard along with a small group of woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
