This dual keyboard arrangement of "Face to Face"by Grant C. Tullar creates an atmosphere of meditation as the piece begins with softly rhythmic detached chords by PIANO 1. Right away, PIANO 2 joins in and serenely presents the melody. Continuing through the verse to the chorus, PIANO 1 broadens with flowing scales. After a short bridge, PIANO 1 takes the melody while PIANO 2 follows with a tranquil harmony. The piece concludes with a return to the soft, rhythmic theme in the introduction.
This peaceful arrangement will delight the listeners whether used as a prelude, an offertory, or special music. This hymn also sounds equally pleasing whether played on two acoustic pianos or played on two keyboards with unique sounds (especially if one keyboard adds a subtle "orchestra" setting).
